Dr. Hilburg is an Associate Professor of Dental Medicine and a Clinical Practice Leader at Touro College of Dental Medicine. She became a member of the faculty at the school’s inception and, following an appointment at New York University College of Dentistry, later returned and accepted her current role teaching third and fourth year students in the school’s clinical training facility. In addition to her teaching responsibilities at TCDM, Dr. Hilburg is currently Co-Chair of the school’s Committee for Accreditation.

Dr. Hilburg previously served as Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at New York University College of Dentistry where she was responsible for providing leadership and strategic management for all patient-centered care and clinical compliance. Prior to this, she spent much of her academic career at Columbia University where she was Director of the Third-Year Clinical Program and Director of Clinical Systems. She has also held a senior clinical education position at the University of New England College College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hilburg has worked along-side her husband in a successful private practice in Valhalla, NY for more than 30 years.
