Louis Rubins, D.D.S.

Dr. Rubins graduated from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine, with a D.D.S. degree in 1960. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, after which he started a private practice in New York City. During that time, he had part-time affiliations with Jewish Memorial Hospital, where he ran the crown and bridge section of a dental internship program, was Assistant to the Director, and served on the Admissions Committee.
Dr. Louis Rubins is a Clinical Professor at Touro College of Dental Medicine with teaching responsibilities on the Pre-Clinical Dental Faculty and is also a member of the Admissions Committee.
He was Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University for 46 years where he taught Clinical and Pre-Clinical dentistry and served on the Admissions Committee. Dr. Rubins was also Assistant Director of the Postgraduate Dental Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and taught there for 30 years.

Columbia University Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.
