Our Unique Approach to Dental Health
When you first come to Touro Dental Health, you’ll receive a comprehensive oral exam in our General Dentistry clinic. This is also where the majority of your treatment will take place. All adult patients get their dental checkup, cleaning, and routine fillings in this clinic. If we need to access more advanced equipment, we may move treatment to another clinic in the same building.
One of the major advantages of coming to Touro is that if one of our dentists notices something during an oral exam or checkup, we have specialists right here that can take a look. All of our dental specialists work closely together to treat the whole patient. For example, if a patient comes in with symptoms of gum disease, our periodontist can examine the gum and bone tissue and suggest specific treatment.
Our dental specialists often work together closely to address complex dental and oral health issues. If a patient needs a root canal, our endodontist will often work directly with our radiologist to get a clearer picture of how tooth decay or infection is affecting the inner tooth or surrounding tissue. If a patient is getting implants, our implant specialist may collaborate with our periodontist to prepare the site for surgery with preparatory treatment of the gum and bone. If a patient has physical trauma, our oral surgeon will help heal the affected area before the implant specialist places implants. Our implant specialist also works with our radiologist to analyze complex 3D scans of the mouth, to ensure accuracy and safety during surgery. Having access to any dental specialty you need all in one place saves you time and makes your care much more efficient.

Implant Dentistry
Every year, implants are becoming more and more common. We offer precise and advanced implant surgery using the latest digital technology. Our 3D CBCT machine is used to plan each and every implant. This state-of-the-art tech isn’t available in many other private dental practices and allows us to offer a higher level of care. You can meet with our specialist and determine if implants are a good choice for your unique dental needs.

Pediatric Dentistry
We offer pediatric dental services for patients ages 0-16 in our bright and child-friendly clinic. We have a special focus on preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. We also provide specialized care for special needs children and adults (IDD) alike.

Periodontics
We have eight periodontists on staff who are experts at treating gum disease and restoring oral health. Our team offers solutions to address every stage of gum disease, from early maintenance to surgical treatment. Some of our common procedures include scaling and root planing, and gum grafting.

Endodontics
Our endodontists have one job — to save your teeth. Whether you have a tooth injury such as a cracked tooth, or tooth decay or infection, we’ll do our best to find a solution. Our most common procedure is root canal therapy, but we offer all endodontic treatment to help save teeth. If you have a tooth injury, our endodontists can resolve your pain, treat your inner tooth, and give you the best chances to keep your natural teeth intact.

Orthodontics
We offer a full range of orthodontic treatment for children, teens and adults, including braces and Invisalign. Our orthodontic treatment can address both aesthetics and oral health. An aligned smile can mean more comfortable chewing and healthier teeth and gums. Having your child’s dental checkup and cleaning in the same office as orthodontic treatment is a great time saver.

We also take care of more routine surgeries Including extractions and wisdom teeth removal. Our oral surgeons work with our orofacial pain specialists to treat TMJ and facial pain therapy.
