Graduating Students Arrival Time for Commencement Procession

Graduating students must arrive 1–1 1/2 hours prior to the commencement ceremony and proceed to the below location at the designated time. Signs will be posted directing students to the upper lobby. Please plan to arrive by 12:30pm.

Academic Attire and Regalia

The Office of the Registrar handles the distribution of academic attire for students. All academic attire must be picked up as follows:

Friday, May 9, 2025
1:00 p.m.
Skyline Auditorium

If graduating students are unable to pick up academic attire, they may arrange for someone else to pick it up on their behalf. Your cap, gown, and hood are yours to keep, permitting you to take photos before or after commencement. For any questions, contact registrar@nymc.edu.

Diplomas

If you have completed graduation requirements and fulfilled your financial and academic obligations with the College, you will receive your diploma on stage during your commencement ceremony with an official conferral date of May 25, 2025.

Before then, carefully review your transcript in the TouroOne portal. You may need to follow-up on any outstanding grades or evaluations. For questions, contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@nymc.edu.

Additionally, a CeDiploma will be available for any student who completes their degree requirements. CeDiplomas will be released sometime in June.

Take care of your obligations with the following offices: Bursar, Financial Planning, Library, Student Affairs and Housing. If you borrowed student loans while attending NYMC or TCDM, federal law requires that you participate in an exit interview with Student Financial Planning before graduation; call (914) 594-4491 to arrange an appointment. You will not receive your diploma until these obligations are fulfilled.
