Dr. Steven Cho is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dental Medicine at the Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). Prior to joining TCDM, Dr. Cho taught students at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Metropolitan Hospital Medical Center, New York Medical College and Mount Sinai Beth Israel, instructing both oral surgery residents and dental students. He currently operates a successful Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) practice in New York City and has been practicing full scope OMFS in Manhattan since 1995. Dr. Cho has a particular interest in treating dental implant reconstruction, facial trauma patients and skeleto-facial deformities. Aside from running his practice, Dr. Cho has been committed and involved as Chair for several organizations. He has served on the New York State Board for Dentistry as Chair of the Anesthesia Committee and served as Vice Chair in 2016. He is the current Ethics Committee Chair for the New York County Dental Society. In addition to these roles, Dr. Cho was the Associate Chief of Dentistry in the Department of Surgery at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan from 2003 to 2011. He is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
