Raphael Csillag

Dr. Raphael Yitz Csillag is an Associate Professor of Dental Medicine at the Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). Prior to his current teaching role, Dr. Csillag taught at Columbia University, where he served as an Assistant Clinical Instructor. While at Columbia, he was the recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology Educator Award in 2011 for outstanding teaching and mentoring in the full scope of clinical Periodontics. 

Dr. Csillag is incredibly passionate about education, and his courses include an emphasis on saving “hopeless” teeth, alveolar preservation and hard and soft tissue regeneration in infants. He has been trained to utilize a number of sophisticated dental implant systems, including 3i, Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Biohorizons and Astra. Dr. Csillag currently maintains private practices in both periodontology and general dentistry in New York and New Jersey, and is licensed to practice dentistry in both states.
