Hanna Horowitz

Dr. Hanna Horowitz is the Director of Outcome Assessment and an Associate Professor of Dental Medicine at the Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). As a full-time preclinical instructor, Dr. Horowitz is responsible for instructing all preclinical courses in TCDM’s state of the art simulation laboratory. Additionally, Dr. Horowitz is Chair of the Outcomes Assessment Committee, and in this role she is responsible for collecting and reporting on TCDM assessment data.

Dr. Horowitz previously served as a Professor at Farmingdale State College for twenty-six years where she was Course Director for Dental and Oral Anatomy, Oral Histology and Embryology and Pain Management. During this time, she was the principal investigator for a research project titled, The Feasibility of Administering an Oral Rapid HIV test in University Based Dental Clinics, which was presented during the poster session at ADEA in 2019. Dr. Horowitz previously practiced dentistry in Brooklyn as a part of the Department of Health, as well as in private practice in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Horowitz is currently licensed to practice dentistry in the state of New York.
