Dr. Shahrzad Mirafzali is an Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine at the Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). She specializes in general/family dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry up to full mouth reconstruction, and previously owned and maintained a private dental practice in New York City. In addition to her current teaching responsibilities at TCDM, Dr. Shahrzad Mirafzali is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the college’s Restorative Sciences & Endodontics Department. In 2004, she and her husband were recruited to help establish international standard medical and dental services for Shanghai United Family Hospital in Shanghai, China. In addition, she was granted a visiting professorship at Shanghai's Jiao Tong University College of Stomatology while also working in a private practice. Dr. Mirafzali has participated in a number of continuing education courses on a variety of topics including periodontology and implant dentistry. She is licensed to practice in the states of New York and Michigan.
