Dr. Sepi Shaffer is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine at the Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). In addition to her current teaching responsibilities, Dr. Shaffer serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of General Dentistry. Experienced in all aspects of dentistry, she also works in private practices in Merrick, New York, where she specializes in providing preventative care to children ages 1-12, as well as Brooklyn, New York.
While pursuing her D.D.S. at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Shaffer was the recipient of a number of awards including the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Dental Student Award and the Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership. Upon continuing her training as a GPR resident at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, she was chosen as Chief Resident and gained experience performing complex cases and utilizing CAD/CAM technologies to perform restorations. Dr. Shaffer has volunteered providing dental care to underserved communities in the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and South Dakota. She is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
