Touro College of Dental Medicine Welcomes the Class of 2027
Three Students Discuss Their Hopes for the Future and What Drew Them to New York’s Newest Dental School
Touro College of Dental Medicine welcomed the Class of 2027 with a complete orientation week. During the week, students learned the ins and outs of the dental school, met with their professors and upperclassmen, learned what to expect during the next few years of rigorous schooling and, although delayed by rain, enjoyed an outing to Boundless Adventure Ropes Experience.
The 197 Class of 2027 students at TCDM were chosen from among more than 2400 applicants nationwide – a number that has grown steadily each year. Carefully selected for their future ambitions and stellar academic performance, including an outstanding average DAT score of 21. The class represents 19 states; four students come from Canada, two from Vietnam; two from South Korea; and one student hails from China. We caught up with some of the students at the tail-end of a busy orientation week.
