FEDERAL STUDENT AID CHANGES COMING IN 2026-27

On July 4, 2025, new federal legislation was passed which will make changes to certain federal student aid programs starting July 1, 2026. Please note that there are no changes for 2025-26: Current students and parents will not see any changes to their federal loans or grants this academic year. Touro University is reviewing the implications of this legislation and will share updates as more information becomes available from the U.S. Department of Education. In the meantime, you can review a summary of the forthcoming federal financial aid changes.

Our financial aid counselors will assist you every step of the way, from the beginning of your time at Touro College of Dental Medicine to the beginning of your post-graduate career and beyond. We can help you understand your eligibility and apply for financial aid, and answer any questions about private or federal loans and work-study opportunities.

Beyond loans and work study, there are a few scholarships available. You can search on ada.org for scholarship, and the Army, Navy, and Air Force each a health professions scholarship program.
