Post-Graduate Orthodontics Admissions

You will apply through ADEA PASS and include all required documentation within the ADEA PASS application. We will reach out to selected candidates for interviews. Interviews are required before acceptance into the program.

You can only apply if you are a graduate of a CODA-accredited dental school.

Application Requirements

As part of your application you must upload a CV/Resume, standardized tests, transcripts, and letters of recommendation to the ADEA PASS application, as listed below.

Required Standardized Tests

All scores for standardized tests will be submitted within the ADEA PASS application. You need one of the following:

• INBDE
• NBDE1 & NBDE2

Depending on if you submit INBDE or NBDE, it is preferred that NBDE I & II are taken within the last 5 years and you must pass the INBDE before the program starts. Official results for any of these exams must be uploaded to your ADEA PASS application.

NBDE/INBDE score(s) should also be reported on the Dean's evaluation/recommendation letters.

The GRE and DAT are not required but are accepted. If you have official scores for either or both of these exams, please upload them to your ADEA PASS application.

Transcript Evaluation and Instructions

All transcripts, including unofficial undergraduate transcripts and dental school transcripts, must be uploaded to ADEA PASS. TCDM will not collect or review any transcript mailed to the office. International applicants must submit an official copy of a course-by-course evaluation by the Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) upon admission into the Program. We do not accept reports from other credential evaluators.

Letters of Recommendation

The letters of recommendation should include:

• one letter from the Dean or Academic Dean
• one letter from a Senior Clinic Director/Advisor
• one letter from an employer/volunteer supervisor

Application Fee

The supplemental application processing fee is $100.

An email with instructions to submit the payment will be sent once we receive your application from ADEA PASS.

International Student Eligibility

This program will NOT consider applicants who graduated, or plan to graduate, from a non-CODA accredited dental school.

You are eligible to apply if you graduated from a CODA-accredited school and are a:
